Enter to win a handmade marimba. Help out Lewis Elementary’s music program.

Lewis parent and amateur woodworker Jordan Benner has built and donated a soprano marimba that the Lewis Elementary PTA is raffling off to help support the Lewis music program.

The marimba is a box resonator style. The box is made of baltic birch painted brown. The keys and side rails are made of eastern hard maple. The marimba is a soprano marimba that spans two octives. It was built in the key of C.


We’ll be selling raffle tickets starting May 11, 2017. Tickets will be sold until June 1.

Come to Lewis Spring Music Concert May 25th at 6 PM to enjoy great music and buy raffle tickets at the Lewis PTA booth!

The winning ticket will be drawn June 2, at the Lewis Elementary End of Year Picnic. If you’re not present for the drawing, don’t worry. You’ll be contacted by phone or email if you’re name is drawn.

All proceeds will go to the Lewis PTA, and they have designated these funds to support the Lewis Elementary music program. Awesome!
